Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Dress: ModCloth / Cami: LOFT / Heels: Nordstrom / Belt: Target / White legs: God in heaven & Winter (Thank you both.)
Highlight of the week: Massage Tuesday. Well-deserved this week after 20 hours of shooting. This week's massage was basically 90 minutes of pain management. But it was much needed and refreshing nonetheless.
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Culled 10,600 photos -- 2700 of them twice... due to a Lightroom glitch (rating one photo with 0 stars when I didn't realize ALL the photos were selected 1/2 way through culling one wedding.) So that was fun.
2 -- Cried the whole drive home after dropping Dixie-dog off at the vet to have her teeth cleaned and, what turned out to be, 16 of them removed. :( My poor baby.
I have some pretty rose bushes in my yard that are blooming, but I still want to transplant this one from my neighbor's yard into mine. It's the prettiest color! Do you think she'd notice?
Celebrating: Rachel's birthday! This girl is so amazing and I'm so proud of her and thankful for her friendship and that she is a part of the MJP team!
Took a departure from my usual crowd of professional photographers, and spoke to two elementary school classes (4th & 5th graders) about being a photographer during their Career Cafe hour. I've never answered so many rapid-fire questions in my life. Super-fun though, and I left with a new homemade bracelet and some hugs :).
Feeling Blessed: Even though this was a bit of a rough week dentist-wise (I had to go too -- boo -- but still no cavities -- yay!), I'm so thankful that my sweet doggie is back to her jovial self and God carried us through the rough patches. It feels good to be on this side of this week.
