Hi! I'm Rachel! I am an Arizona native, and have yet to tire of the summer heat! I am the wife of an amazing man whom I respect more than words can say. I am the mother of two magnificent girls, who continually teach me about love and living life to the fullest. I look forward to my morning cup of coffee. I make lists. I am an incessant planner. I relish in reading a good book. I am somewhat shy, but I find myself growing more and more prudent as I age and I'm learning to slow down and take in each and every moment of this amazing life God has blessed me with.
Weddings ALWAYS stir up strong feelings of nostalgia within me, taking me back to the day I married my best friend. I often find myself going through my wedding album, reliving moments and fulfilling that deep yearning to step back into time and soak up the wonder of my day that passed so quickly. I have been shooting weddings with and for Melissa Jill for one year now. I also attended a recent workshop Melissa taught and continue to grow and learn with every wedding I shoot. It's an exciting journey! My approach to photographing weddings is simple - capture the love, the moments and the emotions that fill your day. In creating these timeless images, I marry a journalistic approach with a more refined portraiture experience - limiting the number of posed shots and allowing for a genuine documentary of the moments that make up the most important day of your life!
