Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.
Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Striped shirt: Boden / Skinny jeans: Lucky / Polka dot scarf: Topshop / Boots: Nordstrom / Red belt: Target (And yes, I did get my hair dyed darker this week.)
Highlight of the week: Holiday lunch at America's Taco Shop with the MJP team. What an amazing group of women I get to work with! SO thankful for each of them, their friendships and their talents!
Yes, I did this:
1 -- Sweated profusely while putting up outdoor Christmas lights. Thank you Arizona in November.
2 -- Ate turkey, mashed potato and pie leftovers all. week. long. Yum.
I shot 7 portrait shoots in a 9-day period but I'm determined to enjoy everything I love about the holidays despite the busyness. Started out last weekend by pulling out the Christmas decorations and watching Elf. "I just like to smile. Smiling's my favorite." Best. Christmas. Movie. Ever. And I love how my skinny Charlie Brown tree turned out this year!
Celebrating: Sara's 2-year anniversary with MJP! Can't believe it's been that long already! Sara is super-talented and I'm so thankful for her! So many of the goals I have accomplished with my business in the past couple years have been made possible because she is a part of my team. We went out for dinner to celebrate the occasion and even though Sara encountered her greatest nemesis and took 15 minutes to decide what to order, we had a lovely time.
Shooting my last wedding of the year tomorrow for the sister of this bride. Very sweet family. Can't wait!
Feeling Blessed: I'm lactose intolerant but thankfully pizza without cheese is still yummy.
