I just got this super-cute card in the mail from Megan and Scott and couldn't resist sharing it with you.
Megan and Scott chose to purchase a DVD with all their wedding images at high resolution and they ordered these cards from Wedding Paper Divas with some of their favorite images. It's always a little scary to put my images in clients' hands because you never know what they will do to them - add crazy photoshop actions, crop them and post their creations on FB with my name on them - or how they will have them printed - at Walgreens or on their home ink-jet printers - but nonetheless I have chosen to release control and offer a DVD with all their images at high resolution to my clients.
It's such a treat to see the results when clients do a great job using their images in a fun and tasteful way. I love the grid of photos on the front of this card - it actually reminds me of some of the collages I share on my blog. It really showcases the flavor and some of the fun moments from their wedding day. And the thing I love most about it is that they sent me one! I rarely get the chance to see into clients' lives to get a glimpse of how they live with their photos. When I do see my photos hanging on the walls of homes or receive cards with my images on them I get such a sense of satisfaction that I get to do something so fun and valuable for a living. I have the best job ever!
