Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Favorite Outfit of the Week -- Shirt & striped cardigan: Anthropologie / Skinny jeans: LOFT / Boots: Nordstrom

Highlight of the week: My lemon-picking party. In truth, it wasn't so much a party, as it was the result of me begging my neighbors and friends to come over and help me harvest the lemons off my lemon tree and take them home with them. Two years ago I did all the picking myself and it took nearly a full day. This year, with 5 of us, we were done in an hour and a half. Two years ago I counted 476 lemons picked from my one little tree. This year we didn't count, but based on a comparison of the bins filled each year, I'm estimating between 700-800. Crazy!! PLEASE stop by for free lemons.

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Realized the pain in my ankle while running was not, in fact, going to go away with more running. And that it answers to the name "peroneal tendonitis." Boo. One website says that, "Two underlying factors that can lead to this injury include poor flexibility and muscle weakness." That made me feel awesome about myself.
2 -- Provided much needed moral support.

Dixie dog got a haircut and since she's now nearly hairless, we had to break out her Christmas sweater. Click here to see her toasty festiveness.

Celebrating: The end of the craziness. You know that point of relief when you can finally take a breath and slow down a little after running what feels like a marathon to keep up with it all? Just two days ago I reached it. And simultaneously came down with a head cold. Never fails. BUT, I'm still celebrating because now I have time for a head cold. Bring on the Christmas movie marathon and tissues!

Feeling Blessed: I have nothing but church, hanging with friends and two Christmas parties on my calendar this weekend!
