Frivolous: playful, lighthearted, trivial; the little things in life that should be savored.

Favorite Outfit of the Week: Blouse: Guess / Wool skirt: J Crew / Heels: Madden Girl / Tights: Target / Bag: Charming Charlie / Bracelet: Ruche

I'm sick for the 3rd time this year. Viruses are using my immune system as a punching bag and it's being mutilated. I'm looking into an ear, nose and throat transplant. Anyone want to work out a trade?

Got invited last minute by a friend to see the Broadway musical Wicked. I had never seen it before, so of course, I jumped at the opportunity. It was amazing. The plot was so creative. Loved the costumes, set, and talent. Still wondering how they made the rain look so real.

Highlight of the week: Had a hot date on Valentine's Day with my girlfriend Pati who lost her husband to cancer 2 1/2 years ago. I made dinner. And it turned out edible (this is notable because I don't often cook). We shared what God is doing in each of our lives and got in some long-overdo catching up. I love her. Her faith is such an encouragement to me.

Yes, I did this:
1 -- Realized an hour after eating above mentioned dinner, that I had left the crockpot on high and the remaining leftovers were burned to a crisp. (On the bright side, I managed not to ruin dinner BEFORE we ate).
2 -- Cancelled a 10-day trip to the Carolina's to visit friends because I'm sick. It was a tough call, and remains to be seen if it was a good one.

Celebrating: Reached an exciting milestone in a top-secret project I've been working on for nearly a year that will make photographers' lives easier. I'll be able to unveil it in a few short weeks so stay tuned! SO EXCITED!

Reading a book right now called Kisses From Katie about a 19 year old girl who went to live in a village in Uganda after graduating high school in a Tennessee suburb. She is now 23 and has 14 adopted daughters and a full-fledge non-profit that helps feed, clothe, educate and give hope to poor children who live in destitute conditions. Talk about using your life to make a difference! I want to make a difference with my life SO BADLY and this young girl is smoking me!

Feeling Blessed: God has a plan. And I'm a part of it.
