Melissa Jill - Hi Diana -- I totally agree that God has different paths/plans for each of us. But I wouldn't call what Katie is doing -- caring for orphans and the poor (something God has called all believers to do) -- "spectacular" or "showy." I'm not saying I need to go live in Uganda and do the same thing to make a difference with my life. But I certainly am challenged by her example of wholeheartedly loving the people God has placed in her path while also giving up so many of the comforts us American Christians cling to.

Diana Gunning - God doens't always have spectacular showy things in mind in mind for all of us to do. Not everyone is equiped for that. The things we do in quiet behind the scenes so to speak are just as important and valuable to him .
