This last week my life has been full of cookies.
I've baked 16 batches of cookies myself - for vendor/venue gifts, a party, and for self-consumption of course. I went to a cookie exchange party this weekend. And last night I attended a cookie decorating party. If I don't post any photos of myself in the coming weeks and months you will know that my waistline did not survive all the merry-making.
This is my second year attending my bride-turned-friend Kindra's cookie decorating party. And this year she's prego and expecting a baby boy in April! Yay!

I love how Kindra still has her wedding album prominently displayed in her house. At this time of year it is friends with the nativity scene:
Kindra's house was very festive and she cooked us yummy food:
A couple girls showed up in their cute aprons. They meant business.
Kindra has some fun friends. We laughed a lot.
There were lots of pretty frosting colors and decorations on hand:
Kindra even baked me a special batch of cookies that was dairy free!
We ate cookies as we decorated. In fact, every time I made a cookie that looked like it was made by a kindergartener I made sure to eat it to destroy the evidence.
Here are the few that survived:
The good thing is, no matter how pretty they are, they all taste scrumptious!
