Andrew and Stephanie are getting married in May and I had so much fun getting together with them over the weekend to take their engagement photos. We drove out to Apache Junction with only a general idea of where we were going and ended up with some super-fun images that I love. Here are a few of my favorites:
Stephanie rocked her colored heels:
I loved this light we found out in the desert:
While we were shooting at the sign at the top of this post, a guy across the road from us volunteered his horses for our shoot! How random and cool is that!? Of course, we had to take advantage of the opportunity, and the location and light ended up being perfect:
These two have so much fun together. We laughed A LOT.
How about these gorgeous Superstition Mountains in the golden hour?
After working up an appetite during the shoot, we topped off the evening with some Mexican food! Super-fun!
Thanks for an amazing shoot Andrew and Stephanie! I can't wait for your wedding!
I knew George and Katrina were going to be fun to shoot when Katrina started crying while looking into George's eyes 3 minutes into our session. When couples are able to so easily be in the moment and focus on their love for one another, my job is SO fun. Not only do these two adore each other, they are adorable. I loved getting to know them as I took their engagement photos in Old Town Scottsdale on Saturday night. Here are some of my favorites:
So fun! George & Katrina -- I can't wait for the wedding!
Scott and Kelli are getting married in October. Some of their best memories are from camping in this specific spot on Pine Mountain. So Friday, we packed up some camping gear and made the trek north an hour and a half out of Phoenix. We turned onto a dirt road and drove another hour -- not passing or seeing another car the entire drive -- until we finally reached this remote spot. I love when couples are open to doing something unique and personal for their engagement photos! Here are some of my favorites from this fun shoot!
Scott and Kelli brought along Callie, their Australian Shepherd mix. She was SO excited and just wanted to explore every nook and cranny of this gorgeous ravine:
There should be a rule that you can't camp without making s'mores. We made sure this camping trip was done right:
Callie wanted to be in on the fun and kept jumping up on the camping chairs:
What a fun shoot! Thanks Scott & Kelli for being up for an adventure!
This gorgeous girl is one of my four associate wedding photographers. Mary, along with Michelle, Rachel and Tina, do a fabulous job shooting weddings for Melissa Jill Photography and their packages range from $1,200 - $6,000. Hiring them is a GREAT alternative if you can't afford to spend $6,500+ on your wedding photography, but you still want the quality and service that comes with the Melissa Jill brand.
Mary recently shot an engagement shoot at ASU that I adore and I just have to share some of my favorite photos with you. Jordan and Michelle are so cute together that it makes me a little jealous that Mary gets to shoot their wedding in May!! Lucky girl!!
Here are some of my faves from their recent shoot. How amazing is this first shot?
Amazing job Mary! These photos make me so excited to see their wedding!!
