I had so much fun Sunday night through Tuesday with this group of girls. When I planned The MJ 2 Day, I didn't plan for an all-girl group, but that's what we ended up with. What's up with that boys? Is it me? Is it something I'm putting out there? Did you not relate to the colors on the workshop website? Whatever the reason, I embraced it and put nail polish and lip gloss in the goody bags.

The 13 girls who attended came from 9 different states plus Canada and were all in the first couple years of their businesses. From L to R starting from the top: Allison Roen from Iowa, Angela Abeyta from Colorado, Erin Duggin from Missouri, Gail Werner from Indiana, Gwen van Rooyen from Vancouver, Canada, Jen Wiemer from Missouri, Joanna Garcia from Texas, Jessica Hampton (my roomie), Dixie dog (also my roomie and in the collage for filler :)), Kama Demczyk from Ohio, Laura Thompson and Stephanie King--mother/daughter team from Florida, Tina Hertzler from Pennsylvania and Suzanne Searle from Arizona.

On day 2 I shared on business topics like album design & sales, vendor relations & networking, blogging, initial client meetings, pricing, website & branding and getting published. It was a marathon-o-learning. I didn't get a chance to shoot much since I was flapping my jaw but here's a couple images and feel free to look at the other girls' blogs to see more.

I couldn't resist this when I saw it:
Dixie enjoyed making new friends:
The girls hung out and edited through images of each other while I met with them individually for consultations down stairs:
What a cute group!!
I will be announcing dates for the next MJ 2 Day soon so stay tuned!
