Chris Aram - Ha - this is something I've always done and I'm 6'6"! I too love the perspective but I was intrigued to read about your f/4.5 trick ... I usually really crave the shallow DOF so am shooting at 24mm f/2.0 or even faster, but of course that makes it harder to get the focus plane right. Thanks for the tip - I look forward to trying it out soon! :)
