BTW: I'm totally impressed you crochet AND knit! I stick with knitting myself but I love the look of the granny circle/square throws! That one is going to look AMAZING!!!!

Tammie - I would LOVE to be able to crochet & knit :) I was on bedrest with my daughter, needed to do something 'relaxing' and got so frustrated I went back into preterm labor!! Sooo not relaxing for me. It's been 8 years, maybe I should try again?? The scarf is BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE the color!
Stacey - Love it!!! I took up knitting about a year ago (after learning as a tiny tot from my grandma) and it's so therapeutic. I do so much THINKING during the time my hands are working! Have fun, I love the scarf, and can't wait to see your blanket someday!
Jill - Everyone called me grandma in college, too... heck, they call me that now. I'm completely with you crafts are both relaxing and fun, and I think that's a pretty rare thing. marisa - I totally relate to the grandma in college thing. Fortunately being at a private Christian college made it a little less weird for me to sit around crocheting in the student lounge. At some point I abandoned crocheting for embroidery (smaller projects for my small space) but those granny squares are calling my name. A granny-square blanket has been on my 'someday' list for as long as I can remember. I'm excited to see how yours turns out!
