Natalie - Just a note to everyone with questions - of course my boys wear helmets normally! Especialy Elijah who is prone to doing dangerous things. Also, a friend gave us the tandem bike, but there are quite a few on craigs list that are pretty cheap. Thanks for all the great comments! I am truly blessed to have Melissa as my sis - we never would have photos of our family together without her!
