Melissa Jill :) - Hey Laura--I used the 50 1.2 for the staircase shot. But I was up on the second floor so that's how I was able to fit it all in the frame.
laura - haven't been able to stop thinking about the shot on the stairs from above - what lens did you use, you got both railings on the inside?
laura - every wedding shoot just keeps getting better. what will you do next?
Jennifer Bowen - So pretty! I LOVE the one of their foreheads together with the flowers behind them. That light is scrumptous! Beautiful as always :)

miranda from charlotte - hey melissa! you know i've been following your blog for years now, and i've seen so many great weddings/color schemes/gowns, etc.... well this couple's clean, simplistic style is hands down my absolute favorite so far! if we ever renew our vows, i'm totally using these images as a reference! of course, you would be there too. ;) take care!
Maria Nissen - You captured it beautifully, Melissa! I love the night shot with the hanging lights and the darkening sky. The ambiance looks great.
Becky - I am a budding photographer and I am in love and intrigued with your work. Your style is so different than anything I have ever seen before. What is your background? Did you go to college and study photography? I would love to know as I look into furthering my own skills. By the way, I heard about your class and regret that I can not make it. Will you have more classes in the future?
