Yuka photo art - thank you for this amazing post, and for your light soul!
Calvin Hill - Nice job Melissa. Our son will be turning 12 this year. We spoke with our therapist the other day working on a 5 year plan for him. So much work to do in such little time. With God's help, we hope to beat the statistics.
Liza Roberson - Very inspiring...thanks for posting.
Michele Schanker - WOW! Melissa thanks for sharing that. It's great to hear about his success.
Jenny Spires - Love this post!!! Your photos were beautiful. I haven't had a chance to put mine up yet.. we've been SO busy this week getting ready for SARRC's big Breakfast tomorrow morning!!! So much work, but I'm so excited.
gretchen knoblock - hey melissa, you know how dear this is to my heart. Sarrc was great for Kody, thank you for posting this! =)
courtney - Hi Melissa! Love this! Its amazing and your pictures are wonderful (as always). I was unfamiliar with the statistics you listed in your blog, but its definitely eye opening. I am pretty sure my nephew's autism will affect his ability to ever work or live alone but its great to see that their are people out there who struggle like he does, who CAN make it in the world on their own, and be incredibly awesome at it too! :)
Meredith - Melissa,
First, I think you are the most fabulous photographer I have ever seen. I love photography and have spent the last two days looking at all of your images with envy. I also really appreciate your willingness to share all your knowledge, On a side note, I want to thank you for your devotion to autism. I have a three year old son who was diagnosed with mild autism a year ago. Once someone you love has autism, it changes you for life. Thanks so much for caring about the two things that mean so much to me- photography and autism.
