angie - Many prayers of comfort for this beautiful family
Marisa Schibilla - This post stopped me in my tracks. I am at a loss for words. All I can think is that this is why us photographers do what we do. What beautiful, heartfelt images you have captured for this family to cherish forever. Great job Melissa. My thoughts are with this family.
Mike Olbinski - Thanks for sharing this Melissa...even if it's a sad thing to be talking about, it's good for all of us to hear it and realize how precious life is and to take advantage of the time we have.

Jesus conquered death-- Russ has gone from life to LIFE!

Carrie - Beautiful post. My thoughts and prayers are with your friend's family. I lost a dear friend of mine to cancer about a year ago at age 35...
Amanda Mays - So very sorry to hear about Russ! I remember seeing the pictures you did before and reading his story. I was so struck by how full of life and loving he was in those shots! I know this is a great lose to many people, so sad! I will keep you and his friends and family in my prayers!
Becky {BrendaEdenPhotography} - Wow I'm so sorry for the family! And for you too Melissa! My very first paying job was a family who we photographed more than once, and a couple weeks ago we photographed the father at his funeral (he dided from cancer). It makes photography seem so much more important than just "taking pretty pictures" when you realize that you are creating such powerful memories.
Cindy - So sorry for your loss Melissa. I was just reading their blog. I have been in their shoes...like so many others. Their words on the blog jump off the page at me and it's as if I'm right there with them. My dad passed away from the very same condition. I know those feelings so well. My heart goes out to all of you.
~Kristina - The Good Lord calls everybody home. May his family find peace in prayers.
Alex Rodriguez - Sorry for the loss, I will keep him and his family in my preyers.
