Corie in Indy - Hi Melissa, Your photos are awesome and I love your blog! You have a great talent for post-processing and getting skin tones and color exactly right. I was wondering, where did you learn this? Do you have any suggestions for books or classes to take to learn how to do this better? I would love for my family photos to look this awesome. I think I have the eye for composition, but would love to learn more about processing/color correction. Thanks!

Melissa Jill :) - Hey Rich--thanks! There's definitely a different feel to shooting family. I'm always more relaxed and don't have as high of expectations on myself. But apart from that, it's about the same.

Rich - What a great set! Do you have a hard time shooting family members? We love taking photos of our son, but when it comes to family in town...it's just hard to get professional with them!
