Calvin Hill - Hey, that is a great proof book. I used blurb as well. The pictures in the one and only book I created was a little dark but I know that I did not set the color profile for the pictures. Will you be considering them for actual picture albums?
Megan Robbins - I've used programs very similar to this and was considering offering proof books like this in lieu of the traditional ones but I have a few questions. I am assuming you used the yearbook style format, did you have to put in the file name for each photo? Also, what do you do about vertical vs horizontal formats? Thanks for the continual help Melissa!
Tawnya - Hi Melissa~ that looks so awesome! I have been wanting to do this for some time- but had so many questions. If you have a moment, maybe you can answer them for me :) What size do you think is the best and how are you creating the layout- is it difficult? I was just going to create my most recent wedding proofbook the old way, but I would LOVE to give this a try. I wish I could just network more with great people like yourself. :) Thanks for sharing and getting me motivated.
Brienne Michelle - Yay for knocking another one off the List! Congrats! I'll have to check Blurb out. :-) Who do you use for your regular albums?
Tami - Blurp! What an awesome book from them! Ah...you are so fantabulous! Thanks for the sweet treat today!
Joanna - I had heard of blurb. I might have to give them a try. Thanks for the awesome tips.
Tira J - Ooo La La! They look amazing. I am going to order one of these for the Quads first year to test the waters! How in the world did you find this vendor? Thanks again for sharing the wealth of information here on your blog!
Olivia Hurtado - Beautiful albums Melissa! Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog! Hope you're doing well. :)
Shari Barnes - I am going to have to look into this as I am looking for a new proofing option for my clients also. How's the turnaround time on the book?
Kent Hustead - Alright! Another item off the list. Way to go! I'll been using Blurb for my proof for a year now. They're fabulous. I use Photoshop Contact Sheet and a few actions to completely automate the process. It only takes me (depending on the number of images) about 45 minutes to have one ready for upload. Nice touch!
