I got the "hidden picture with text graphic over it" thing figured out (thank you!! -- I tried it on my first ever "how to video" blog post: http://www.jamiezanotti.com/video-how-to-wear-scarves-for-your-portrait-session/ -- lots of learning and trying new things happening over here lately! :) But I can't quite figure out the Rich Pins thing... As I'm looking into it on Pinterest's site, it sounds like I'd need to change the metadata specifically for each post. Or is there a way to make it so it automatically grabs my blog post title? Melissa Jill - Thanks so much Jamie! Glad you got hidden images to work! So Rich Pins are SUPER-easy. All you need to do is apply, and then once you get approved, it will just start pulling your blog post title in for the title of the pin. No additional work is needed on your part.
Melissa Dunstan - Thanks for the great article Melissa! I do have a question about the Rich Pin application. Do you have to change the code each time you write a blog article, or just the once? I'm having a hard time with that step, thank you!
Melissa Jill - Hi Melissa! Oh no -- for the Rich Pins you only need to add the code to your website the one time. It's a one and done task!
Kris - thanks so much loved it. I plan on trying it after the holidays when i get some time. just curious as far as pinterest in general, how do you even pick up traffic from there to start. ? I have not even gone down that road at all. I have tried pinning my own stuff some but that seemed weird and I had to o it from my actual galleries which did not bring clients back to my sites. So I need to do it from my blog I assume.
