Melissa Jill - Hi Haley -- No, not at all! If it looks like it’s in good condition and a fair price, I think buying used gear can be a great option!
Carey - I'm just curious to find out if you had to use a wide angle lens to photograph large group shots which lens would you recommend? Tx
Melissa Jill - Hi Carey -- I try not to use a wide angle lens for portraits, but occasionally the group is so large or I don't have enough room to back up to use my 50mm, and I have to. The lens I use is the Canon 24mm 1.4. I also use this for all of my reception open dancing photography.
