Melissa Jill :) - Hey Diana! Good eye! It was taken off of the Princeville balcony!
Diana Kincaid - Was the top photo taken at Princeville Resort? That was my favorite place in Kauai.
Rachel Brooke - Thank you so much for posting this! I am going here on my honeymoon in January, and I haven't seen pics yet. I'm excited now :)
Jen - Hey Melissa--fun stuff! On the rooster subject, a while back when Kaui had a huge storm (hurricane?), a bunch of roosters/chickens got loose on the island when their pens broke open. There really aren't any predators on the island, so they continue to grow in their population. Little tidbit I learned while I was there a while back ;) Enjoy!!! P.S. If you want a great hike, try the Napali Coast. It's breathtaking!
Shannon S. - Are you kidding???? These are way better than any postcards I've seen. The clouds in that first shot are amazing! It all looks so unreal. I'm glad you're having a good time. Miss you!
Melissa Jill :) - Hey Armin--The landscapes were actually taken with my 50mm and a couple with my 70-200mm. We were pretty far away. The wide angle lens isn't very good for landscapes because it makes everything that is far away look even smaller. The 50mm is a good lens for them though.
Armin - Good stuff as always, wedding too! So were these landscapes taken with the 16-35? I like the lighthouse image, and those roosters make great subjects, lol.
elizabeth - Beautiful shots Melissa, also the wedding images and all are quite amazing!
