Dannielle Puckett - I have just read your entire FAQ blog. All 7 pages are awesome. Thank you so much. You confirmed some things that I "thought" I was doing right and introduced me to several new things as well. It is so kind of you to share your knowledge! God Bless You!
Cassie Jacklin - Thank-You, Thank-You, Thank-You!!! I am new to photography and recently just started my business so all of your insight is helping me so much!!
Stacey Hemeyer - I LOVE your FAQ section. You are such an inspiration! I would love to see more info on shooting in RAW (I am not sure where to start) and on other actions you use.
sarah Javaheri - This was really interesting for me to read. I will try and apply some of your reccomendations. Thanks so much for sharing this!
RE - I'm glad to see I'm not the only one shooting all manual and in RAW! Gotta love it... I wish more photographers knew how. The camera metering always gets them and they under expose. I teach manual to everyone that shoots with me. However, I just can't get the back button focus thing down. I get confused! lol
shoshanna - thank you for posting this!!! its always great to see before and after shot because, there's an "illusion" there in finished pictures, its easy to think that's is how the picture looked on the back of the camera....as far as your colors go tho...they seem so...soft and light almost, how can I find out more about these actions....
Armin - Great post Melissa. I totally understand your insight on exposures. I've been dealing with the same situations as you and pretty much have used a similar process. Gotta love RAW!
Melissa Jill :) - Hi Jeff, I have both Artistic Actions Volumes. #1 has the X-process combo and #2 has the digital fill flash. That's a tough toss up...
Jeff Krieger - Thanks for the tips, Melissa. So..which sets of Kevin Kubota's actions do you have? They are a bit expensive, and I can probably only afford one.
Thx,
Jeff
