Jenna Bechtholt - I completely agree with #93 and feel like it is an ongoing process. I am always trying to tweak my blog and find new ways to inspire others with my wedding photography and personal life. I feel like it is easy to become stale in your posts, but by making it more personal you can break the mold and keep your blog fresh.
Devin Robinson - Thank you so much for this inspiration! My wife and I are starting a new business and I believe this will be key in helping us to succeed. You are a great encouragement to us and we are thankful for the ways in which God has used you to help us and you will never know the extent of it! Check out our list!

Leslie Harris - Oh Melissa~ you are just such a doll. You may have not finished it all in 1001 days but you accomplished so very much. You give me (and I'm sure plently others) so much inspiration!! Like the way you totally share yourself. I don't think I could make it without your blog! I came to one of your workshops and then you didn't just forget who I was and pocketed my money....NO you cared so much for me to the point of checking on me and sending me info from friends that had simular situations:) I have been to many workshops and never once did I have someone emailing. You have a passion for photography and a passion for helping people.....Now that makes ALL the difference in the world:)
Kari Jeanne - Congrats on accomplishing so many of your goals! That is an amazing thing - to keep up with it and do so much! You are amazing!
Susanne Ashby - Hi Melissa! I just had to say... you are such an inspiration to me and have motivated me to write down my goals, too. Thank you for sharing so much awesome info on your blog. As a photographer, I really look up to you and your AMAZING brand and business model. Hoping to attend one of your workshops someday!!
Meridith - I would love to plan out my blog posts for the month! That is such a great idea, I try to plan a week ahead but sometimes I fall behind or try to find something in the morning to put up there. I am going to try the month in advance for 2013! Thanks for the idea:)
R. J. Kern - Melissa, chin up, girl. Face it: you are human. You should be proud of the work you've accomplished. Like in Gretchin Rubin's "The Happiness Project", leaving an empty shelf serves as a metaphor that you have space and freedom in your life. Your empty shelf? Those 7 blank goals. I just wrapped up my second 101 goals list, too... and you beat me (45/101). However, the process often is better than the outcome, I find. And some of my goals I chose not to complete (take a sabbatical, run a marathon, go to Tuscany). Also, you should watch this Ted Talk on setting goals, for perspective: http://www.ted.com/talks/derek_sivers_keep_your_goals_to_yourself.html
Melissa Jean - I was just looking at my 101 in 1001 today and updating the ones I've done. I subconsciously push myself towards completing so many of them without realizing. Writing it down really is powerful. I'm at 48 so far, though so many of mine were not hard to accomplish, just things that seemed to not get done until they got listed.
Tira J - You got me again! I MUST update my list. I was looking at my 101 in 1001 list just now and I've accomplished like 10 things and never blogged about them. Shame on me. The good news I guess is that I have until 2014 to get them done. Congrats on completing so many of your goals. I love what you said, " I seek to follow God and live my life by his direction and time table." Amen! Sending hugs to you and Dixie.
Katelyn James - blogging calendars are the BEST!!! Love this post! :) xoxo
amy kelly - Congrats, Melissa -- you are an inspiration on so many levels.
Merck - Super inspiring Melissa! I agree 100% about writing down goals. It's one of those things that gets overlooked sometimes. I love the fact that you're very candid about your personal goals. You are blessed! Have a wonderful year ahead and Happy Happy Holidays to you. God Bless.
Carlise - #92 hit home for me especially after clicking on the post you highlighted. I am going through this same exact thing right now - how to push myself to create a better portfolio! Your post was so honest, so candid...more photographers should be more truthful with themselves! Thank you so much for this...going to start a list to help push me, now!!
