This weekend I escaped from the heat up to Flagstaff, Arizona with this cute family. Sarah and Ryan have been long-time friends. I shot their wedding four years ago and Sarah has also done some amazing graphic design work for me. I adore them and I ADORE this shoot -- definitely one of my all-time favorites!
This amazing wooded area was only a short jaunt from Sarah's dad's house where we were staying, and when Dixie and I took a walk through it one afternoon, I knew it would be the perfect location for family portraits. I wish I could shoot here everyday!

Ryan and Sarah are good and making cute kids. Trent is almost 3 and Emmitt is 11 months.
