Yesterday I took advantage of the fact that I have one of the best bosses in the world (hehe) and gave myself the day off. I spent the afternoon at a friend's house in the pool and it was pure summer bliss.
The summers are brutal in Arizona so very few people get married here. It's a slower season for my business but I always have numerous projects in the works that keep me busy and excited to work. I can easily work non-stop all summer unless I'm intentional and plan in vacations or days off. So I did! It's funny how when I'm in a work mode it can be tough to transition into relaxing. There's always a little guilt. Like I'm playing hooky from class. But I soon relaxed into it and took it all in. It was fun embracing summer.
