Another beautiful day in San Diego...
Today Becky and I went to the Del Mar Racetrack for a function for her work. It was fun! I haven't been to a horse race in a long time. The top photo is a self portrait with my fish-eye lens. We sat in the infield so that's the grand stands in the background. It's amazing how much the fish-eye lens captures with the camera being only an arms length away from our faces! I love how you can see the reflection of the camera in my sunglasses.
Becky's work gave us each $2 to place bets with and we bet on two races. The first one we won and doubled our $4!! Here's #6--our winning horse--coming across the finish line:

It was funny--Becky must have introduced me to like 20 people and nearly all of them immediately said something about the weather when they found out I was from Phoenix. So I got plenty of pity today :). One more day of gorgeousness before I head back to the furnace!
