60. Go on a picnic
I am really on a roll this week with checking things off my 101 in 1001 list! I wasn't planning on doing this this weekend but Becky and I decided to have a picnic today. I couldn't think of a more perfect place or a more perfect person to have a picnic with. Becky is THE most organized, efficient, innovative, detail-oriented planner that I know. I know many of you think of me as organized but she puts me to shame. She definitely lives by the motto--"Anything worth doing is worth doing well." She took the picnic idea and ran with it. I basically did nothing but enjoy the fruits of her labor (literally). Well I did put a few pieces of fruit on the skewers--but again BASICALLY nothing. Here's the wonderful lunch she put together which consisted of veggies and guacamole, chicken salad lettuce wraps and fruit kabobs. Plus she new me well enough to get a chocolate candy bar with almonds for dessert.

We walked from her condo in downtown San Diego to the harbor and sat by the water under a tree and had our perfect little picnic. From there the day continued to be absolutely perfect. We laid on the blanket in the sun relaxing for a few hours in the cool breeze and had a great talk. Then we walked back and went shopping at my favorite clothing store -- Ann Taylor Loft. I got a few fun things including a new pair of jeans. And then when we were deciding where to eat dinner she said the word "Chevy's" which made me giddy. After dinner we came home and went in the jaccuzi. This is about as close to my idea of a perfect day as it gets.
