I just got back from a fun weekend in Sedona. Ryan and Sarah got married yesterday and it was amazing. I will post more on that later. But I went up early Friday to hang out with them and play the "friend" role. The weather was great all weekend. I expected it to be just about as hot as Phoenix but it rained and was quite a bit cooler. Saturday Sarah was baptized in Oak Creek surrounded by family and friends. She had been baptized as an infant but wanted to be baptized as an adult as a public profession of her personal choice to follow Christ. I had witnessed numerous baptisms in churches and pools but this was the first one out in the midst of nature. It was awesome!
Before the baptism, while everyone was gathering, Ryan's brother Eli found this snake and gave it to his daughter Audrey to hold. She's so cute and has no fear:

Dennis, the pastor who officiated the wedding, performed the baptism and Ryan went in to support Sarah:
I really enjoyed the weekend and will share more about the wedding later.
