How cute is this ornament!?
I sent these out last week to all the couples whose weddings I shot this year. Yay! I get to check another goal off my 101 in 1001 list!
Ornaments are such a fun way to commemorate different steps in your life. I love decorating my tree and remembering where each ornament came from and who gave it to me. So I thought this would be the perfect gift for my wedding couples - it commemorates a huge milestone in their lives and hopefully each year when they hang it on their tree they'll remember me fondly. HOpefully :)
I ordered these online. And I had to wade through a sea of ugly ornaments to get to this one. Man! There are a lot of ugly ornaments out there! For those of you looking for work - try designing non-ugly first Christmas married personalized ornaments. There's a wide-open market :).
I feel dumb that I didn't think of this until after I ordered the ornaments, but they don't work for my Jewish couples. I guess I live in my own little world where everyone celebrates Christmas. But I need to figure out a good solution for next year. Let me know if you guys have any ideas! I love the idea of sending clients something they can hang on their tree but I definitely don't want to leave anyone out!
I'd love to hear your ideas as well as stories about any ornaments you hang on your tree each year that hold special memories for you!
