How is it possibly my birthday again? You can tell you're getting old when you don't even remember it's your birthday until half hour after getting out of bed. Birthdays just don't carry the level of anticipation that they did when we were kids, huh? Oh well. For me, they're a time to reflect again on God's amazing blessings in my life. I'm so thankful for the people he's put in my life and also for what I get to do for a living.
I'm headed out the door to shoot Dave and Ann's wedding in a few minutes but just wanted to touch base with my neglected blog to let you all know I'm still here. It's just been a crazy week. I unexpectedly spent half a day in the emergency room with my sister who had some frightening symptoms Wednesday morning. She seems to be doing alright now - still recovering from a spinal tap and waiting on the results of an MRI - but it made this week emotionally draining for me.
I have some exciting things coming up including this wedding today and a fun road trip next week so stay tuned for good things to come!
