Photographers -- I appreciate all of your feedback last month when I asked what topic you would want to hear me speak about at a conference. I took everything you said into consideration and came up with a fun topic for this year's Pictage Partner Conference in New Orleans!
My topic is "Learn from MY Experience." Learning from experience is good. But learning from someone ELSE's experience is ever better. And less painful. In this hour I will be sharing my story -- how I started my business, made the leap to full-time, some of the mistakes I made along the way, and five key lessons I walked away with that have been vital for the growth of my business. It should be fun! I've got some specific stories to share that will clearly illustrate the lessons I walked away with. They will include, but not be limited to: a mother of the bride making me cry, the one wedding that resulted in a negative review on Pictage and the key to making nine times more money over your lifetime. Besides fun stories, I will be sharing some really practical tips. You are guaranteed to walk away with some next steps to take your business to the next level.
If you're a photographer - you should definitely try to make it out to New Orleans for the conference this year! Even though it is put on by Pictage, you do not need to be a Pictage member in order to attend. The conference is open to everyone. And it is by far my favorite photography conference each year.
