I have no words left. I used them all in the last two days.
The MJ 2 Day was a HUGE success! I spent 24 hours over the last two days getting to know 12 photographers who traveled from near and far to my humble abode in Gilbert, Arizona to learn about photography and business. I love love love sharing knowledge and talking about photography and business so I was completely energized and in my element. It was fun to get to know the attendees and be a small part of the journey they're each on.
In my next post I'll share more about the attendees, but for now, I wanted to share some images from our mock engagement shoot that we did on Monday. During the day we talked about shooting techniques, lighting, interacting with clients, posing and all sorts of topics relating to shooting. Then in the afternoon we went out to Old Town Gilbert and I was able to demonstrate some of these things through an actual shoot. We were totally SPOILED to have my friends Promise and Brian model for us. These two are newlyweds coming up on their one year anniversary next month and they are just some of the kindest, stylish, most in love people I know. They just ooze talent and on top of being a graphic designer/photographer and musician, they could totally be models. Here are some of my favorite photos from our shoot:
