Mike and Jennifer have a 4 year old girl and twin one year old boys. Talk about having your hands full! It always amazes me how hard parents work during a photo shoot. They work at least as hard or harder than I do -- interacting with their kids, making goofy faces and doing a jig behind me to get their attention -- it's a work out!

When I first arrived at their home I got the chance to interact with their daughter Gwen while they got the boys ready. This was a great time for me to connect with her and get some shots of her in her element. Right now, her world revolves around her family of stuffed dogs. She showed me each of them, gave me their names and explained how they are all related. She insisted they be in the photos so I made sure to fulfill her wishes and that made her ready and willing to try some of my ideas later on.
The whole cute fam:
While I know every family wants the group shots with everyone smiling at the camera, I really thrive off of capturing the connection and interaction between parents and their kids. Ryan is on the left and Wade is on the right:
Sadie, the family dog, even made it into a shot:
Jennifer might kill me for pointing this out, but she ended up wearing two different shoes for the shoot. I didn't even notice until she mentioned it at the end. And I love that her feet made it into the last shot where she has her hands completely full. What a perfect example of what life is like for this family during this season! You guys are huge troopers! I feel so blessed to be able to capture this moment in time in your journey!
