David and Katie were married on Sunday. They decided they just couldn't get enough of me so we got together on Wednesday to have some more fun with the camera. No, actually I think the whole idea behind their "day after shoot" was to capture more amazing portraits in Kauai while we had the chance. Hanging out with me was just one of the inevitable side effects of this venture.

Oftentimes for day after sessions the couple will don their wedding attire once again but David and Katie opted for a more casual alternative. I just loved Katie's dress choice--so perfect for the setting.
We spent much of the shoot in the little historic town of Hanapepe. There was a wealth of settings to work with there including this cool swinging walking bridge:
David and Katie are so cute together and made my job so easy.
Love. These.
David was like a kid in a candy shop when I suggested shooting with this tastefully painted truck:
We finished off the shoot at the beach and some cool cliffs overlooking the ocean:
So fun!

I made it back home to Arizona today and miss Kauai already! Can't wait to go back someday!
