Ahhhh....I made it home. It's so great to be back. I had so much fun this week on the Oregon coast with 11 other awesome women who own their own photography businesses. We're such a random conglomeration of personalities and talents but when you put us together we not only have fun but we push each other to be better.

On the last day of the retreat we spent some time shooting one another and I wanted to do one last post to show off the beauty of these fabulous friends. Only one of these photos was taken by me--I ended up spending most of my time modeling rather than shooting--and as you can tell, there's some SERIOUS talent in this bunch.

Here's Miss Adrienne from Kansas who laughs often and is cute as a peanut (shot by Sara):
Brooke--otherwise known as "Brookie-pants"-- from North Carolina who has an adorable language all her own and keeps us laughing (shot by Rebecca):
Jena from Oregon-- the walking Encyclopedia and master-organizer (shot by Khara):
Kellie from North Carolina--the super-stylish go-getter (shot by Sara):
Khara from Nebraska--full of life and passion (shot by Stacey):
Melanie from North Carolina--part of the Whitebox duo--lacks pretense and is super-hilarious (see photo booth post below) (shot by Kellie):
Prego Misha from Washington who is down-to-earth and super-like-able (shot by Sara):
Rebecca from Kansas--my fellow nerd and Nertz partner who has such an inner strength (shot by yours truly):
Beautiful and goofy Sara from North Carolina who makes up the other half of the Whitebox duo (shot by Kellie):
Stacey from Maine who is smart and loves deeply (shot by Mel):
Tania from Pennsylvania who always seems to be missing her laptop power cord and hates all things orange (shot by Rebecca):
And me! In this shot (by Mel) I seem to be advertising for Fizzy Lizzy Soda. But I love it!
Definitely check out these girls' sites and drop them a note! They're all so great! And I would encourage all of you small business owners to get out there and form groups of your own that you can share with, laugh with and learn from. Photogirls has been a huge blessing to me and I wish that for others as well!
