Tonight we celebrated my friend Jennifer's birthday 80s-style. Jen is the publisher of Destination I Do a fabulous national magazine targeting brides who are planning destination weddings. She is great at what she does and also super-fun. I always love being around her--she's high energy and upbeat. When her close friends asked her what she wanted to do for her 30th birthday she immediately thought of roller-skating and having everyone dress up in 80s garb. So that's what we did! I have to admit that it was a little tough for me. I threw out all my 80s gear long ago so I had to make a trip to Good Will today. Here's a shot of me and Jen--this is what I came up with:
