Yesterday I attended a workshop on blogging given by super-cool Liene Stevens of Blue Orchid Designs and The Smart Planner. Liene is a friend of mine here in Arizona but she's also known nation-wide in the wedding industry for her amazing blogs. I love blogging and have even spoken and taught on blogging a number of times in the past but I know that I am by no means an expert and I can always learn more and improve. And learn I did! I have 4 pages of typed notes to reflect on and hopefully use to improve my blog life further.

The workshop took place at Kimberly Jarman's photography studio in downtown Mesa and was attended by 20+ industry professionals--some who flew in from other states. It was fun to meet a few new people and catch up with friends as well. Here's a shot of Liene (center) with Cicely Rocha-Miller of Life Design Events and Kelly Ashworth of Kelly Ashworth Design:
And a group shot of the whole gang (can you figure out which of these things is not like the other?):
Near the end of the workshop I had a "ah-ha" moment regarding Twitter. I've been half-heartedly twittering for a couple months now but deep down I just wasn't really getting it. Come to find out I've been a complete Twitter retard and had no idea I had a bunch of replies to my tweets under the @Replies tab that I didn't even know existed! And I learned how to reply to people and what the "@" sign and all that jazz means. I'm usually pretty quick about catching on to computer stuff but for some reason Twitter was just not very intuitive for me. But I get it now! You can find me on Twitter by clicking here!
