Last Thursday was our Phoenix PUG (Pictage User Group) holiday party. For those of you who are unfamiliar, our PUG is a group of local photographers who get together on a monthly basis to talk about business and photography and network with one other. I've been leading this group for three years now and have made some amazing friendships in the process. I've also learned a ton--it's so great as a small business owner to not be alone in the journey--to create community that has the effect of helping everyone grow and succeed.

If you've ever wondered what would happen if you put a bunch of photographers IN FRONT of a camera, you need look no further for your answer. The answer is--we turn into a bunch of goofs. At the party, Matt Sloan set up a photo booth and this was the result. The top photo (from L to R)--Cristi Owen, me, Rachael Earl and Angie Sloan.

Here's a group shot in which we did some serious cuddling and exceeded the backdrop regulations:
At one point a mistletoe was brought in as a prop. Chris and Tammie Billey didn't let it go to waste:
JT also got some action from Chris:
I'm not sure what Omari is doing here, but he looks cool:
Andy Andrews and Patrick Tipton made a cute couple :)
Rachael was a super-cute ornament model:
I also really dug how Angela Simpson worked the ornaments:
Matt Sloan, the guy who spent most of the night behind the camera got in front of it for a few himself. Here's some classic Matt Sloan:
That's just a little taste of the goofiness. Thanks so much to Matt for setting that up! And thanks to everyone who makes the PUG group a place of inspiration, encouragement and growth for me. Love you guys!!
