Matt and Leann got married on Saturday at Copperwynd surrounded by family and friends who clearly adore them. I really enjoyed getting to know this couple a little and getting a glimpse into their lives and love for each other.
Unfortunately, the day started out a bit rough. I met Leann and her bridesmaids at Rolf's Salon to shoot some of the preparation but was told by the manager that Rolf's no longer allows "outside photography." I was SO sad for Leann that we weren't able to capture memories from this part of the day. I have since contacted Rolf's corporate office in order to find out more about this policy and spoke with an EXTREMELY apologetic manager of human resources. She felt horrible that this happened and I was happy to find out that the manager was mistaken and that all we needed to do in order to take photos was sign a waiver. But unfortunately this didn't remedy the situation for Leann. So brides--if you're getting ready at a salon and want to be able to have photography coverage during this part of the day, it's a good idea to talk to the manager prior to your wedding in order to find out what their policy is.
