Those of you who see me regularly know that this thing is always attached to the end of my arm. I drink lots of water. That's pretty much all I drink. Besides orange juice. I don't like the taste of alcohol or coffee and I've decided to stay away from soda. Water is my friend. I love this bottle because it holds 64 oz. of the precious liquid. A human's recommended daily dosage. So I fill it up at the beginning of the day and I feel good about myself when I finish it and have to fill it up a little more in the evening.

Since I've been using bottles like this one for 5 years or so, you can imagine my horror when my friend Cristi (who is a dietician) looked at the bottom of it and told me that it could be giving me cancer!! Silly me, I assumed that containers that are sold and meant to hold substances that are consumed by humans are not also POISONING US. Bad assumption on my part. Turns out the little numbers in the recyclable triangle tell you which ones are killing you.
#3 and #7 are the evil ones. My bottle was a #7. So sadly I had to cut off my appendage and it hurt a bit.

Every time I've gone to the store since then I've been on the search for a replacement. Last night I saw what looked like my same exact trusty bottle at Fry's and decided to keep the hope alive and flipped it over. A #1!!! So I bought the store out and am now drinking out of a LIFE GIVING 64 oz. blue water jug. It will be attached to the end of my arm the next time you see me :).
