Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Al and Donna's wedding at their private residence in Fountain Hills. I didn't get the chance to meet this couple until the day of their wedding because half of their year is spent living in Canada. But I already knew they would be amazing clients and have great taste because they hired one of my favorite wedding consultants--Emily Edwards with Your Heart's Desire--to coordinate the day.
Check out the amazing details and the gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony and reception:

I loved Donna's bouquet--done by Tyler's Custom Design--so unique!
Al and Donna's wedding took place in the backyard of their home with an intimate group of family and friends gathered informally around. Donna's two daughters walked her down the short isle:
Donna was radiant:
And I love this look on Al's face:
Pretty quickly it became apparent that Donna's daughters were struggling to hold it together. Donna turned around and everyone started laughing:
And crying some more:
It was such a touching moment.
There's something so serene in this photo of Donna:

Man & Wife!
After the ceremony family and friends gathered around the couple and mingled the night away.
Flamenco dancer Linda Machado was brought in for some surprise entertainment:
At one point one of the guests joined in:
A quick portrait of Donna, Al, Donna's girls and Al's boys. If they each had one more it would be the Brady Bunch! :)
What an amazing evening!
Thanks Al & Donna for allowing me to be a part of your day!
