Or "Dooblin" as they say here :). This morning at 2:30am Phoenix time/10:30am Shannon time--looking my best after traveling for 15+ hours--I met up with these two girls who I'm going to be seeing Europe with for the next 10 days or so. Trina (on the left) is a photographer in Salt Lake City who is attending the workshop and Kari is her sister.
I hadn't met them in person until today so I was excited to find out that they're super-sweet (not that I expected anything less). I feel blessed because they pretty much mapped out our whole trip and I just booked my tickets to come along for the ride. So I have very little knowledge of what's going to be happening for the next week or so other than that we're in Dublin tonight, Paris tomorrow and Rome for the rest of the time. But I love the adventure of just figuring it all out as we go along.

Like this afternoon we got off the plane in Dublin and were able to find Roganstown House Hotel--this cute place we're staying tonight:
We had good intentions of staying up all day and seeing the sites but after a good lunch and shower, we all conked out on our beds for a few hours. When we woke up we took a few photos around the beautiful grounds even though it was raining:
Then we took a taxi to nearby Swords Town and took just a few more photos before it got dark:
Then we had a yummy dinner and headed back to the hotel. Ireland is great so far. Even though we leave tomorrow, I'll be back for the workshop and will be able to spend even more time here. I LOVE the accents. Wish I could get me one. Although sometimes people are speaking English to me and I STILL can't figure out what they're saying. The abundance of green, cool temperatures and the rain are all wonderful as well.

Tomorrow I'll be blogging from Paris!
