I just got two emails in my inbox from Pictage at the same time. One informed me that I was not chosen to speak this year at PartnerCon--Pictage's annual conference. Last year I spoke on blogging so in a small way I kinda feel like I'm being broken up with. But whatev. I know there are a TON of talented, knowledgeable photographers out there who are probably wanting to speak at this thing so I'll recover.
The second email was to inform me that I am being featured on Pictage's blog on the "Tip of the Week" post. On my video I blather on about my love for my PUG and other photographers. If you'd like to see it, click here.
So I got rejected and then loved by Pictage today. I think maybe the 2nd email was to soften the blow. On the bright side I don't have to prepare a speech this year. I can just go and enjoy all my friends, meet new photographers and listen to other peoples' brilliance :).
