Ashlie is my third cousin whose wedding I've shot. I've told them all to cut it out--no more getting married--but they don't listen. SO...I flew out to Omaha last week to shoot her wedding. It was so fun to catch up with family and I'm SO happy for her and Eric. You can tell they're crazy about each other.
But before I get too much further, I have to give a shout out to two fabulous photographers who traveled hundreds of miles on their own quarters to be paid nothing to shoot with me in OMAHA. Yes. They're both a little crazy. This is the first time I've shot a wedding with three photographers and it was a little paparazzi-ish but these two were great--willing to help out with anything.
Here's Matt Nicolosi doing a stellar job of holding the bouquet during portraits (a couple of his images are below):

And adorable Julie Morris assisting not only me, but the bride when her dress came unbustled:
Thanks you two!! You both are such great people--I really enjoyed being around you!
The day started off at the salon with hair and make-up.

Loved this comic that was up on the mirror at one of the hair stations:
Amanda, my cute cousin--Ashlie's sister and maid of honor:
Ashlie was glowing (following two photos by Matt):
Then we headed to the hotel to finish up with the preparations:
I love this shot of my aunt and uncle--the parents of the bride--such pure joy:
Ashlie & Eric saw each other before the ceremony for portraits and you can see the amazing connection they share with each other:
Love this portrait of the sisters:
Here's a few of the groomsmen arriving at the ceremony site looking all dapper:
The lighting was patchy when Ashlie walked down the isle, but the light caught her perfectly at this moment. She looks so gorgeous:
A sweet emotional moment during the ceremony:
Man and wife!
These next two shots are some of my favorites from the wedding. They're pure raw emotion as Ashlie embraces her best friend Emily after the ceremony:
The reception was at the Livestock Exchange--which sounded a little sketchy to me at first. I wasn't sure if we were going to be sharing a room with farm animals, but it turned out to be the top floor of this awesome building (no animals included).
How cute is this little guy?
One final shot of the sweet couple:
SO happy for you guys!!!
