Rob & Val

Here they are! Photos from Rob and Val's wedding this weekend in Palm Springs. I loved this wedding for so many reasons...let me count the ways...the venue (The Parker), the funky style, the sweet couple, and their family and friends who were SO kind. I also really loved the team of vendors and enjoyed working with the fabulous Cathy of Celebrations of Joy. It was a great day. Needless to say, I have a TON of photos to share with you starting with Val's beautiful silver dress:

Val and Rob wrote their own vows and there wasn't a dry eye in the place--including mine! Poor Valorie is pretty emotional and struggled through the whole thing but what she shared reflected such a deep love and I thought she was so brave to lay it all out there regardless of what it would cost her make-up.

Rob complimented her emotion with his exuberance:

At the reception I had the chance to try out my new lighting set-up using both off-camera flash and on. I loved the result.

In lieu of a cake the couple offered their guests a dessert bar that was a work of art in itself. (I tried the one in the middle and the one on the right) :)
