After all this talk about emails and my difficulties getting to the bottom of my inbox, the email gods have apparently intervened, though not in a way that I approve of. This is what my email inbox currently looks like:
BUT....not because I took care of all those emails. Simply because they suddenly disappeared into the stratosphere. Seriously weird things have been happening lately. First we had to take in my laptop to get a new hard drive put in even though it's less than a year old. When we got it back we set up Entourage with all the EXACT SAME email settings as before--as provided by the fabulous JT who got my computers to sync so that emails are archived automatically on both computers when you archive them on one, etc. Then I couldn't send emails from my laptop but instead got an error message. Then that problem started happening on my desktop in addition to all of my emails in my inbox suddenly disappearing. Now we can send and receive but duplicate emails are showing up in the spam arrest inbox and only some of them come through to Entourage. Then when we click back on Entourage the inbox goes blank once again even if we had emails sitting there previously. But now at least what is happening to one computer is also happening to the other. Ashley has been tackling the situation all afternoon but we're still stuck in this current status. All of my emails are showing up in the spam arrest inbox we think. But it's like massive quantities of the same emails in there. I'm starting to feel like the cartoon characters who see stars.

I'm headed out of town tomorrow for a wedding in Palm Springs and have no idea what the email situation will be like when I get back. But for now calling is probably your best bet :).

And if you know any special rain dances for the email gods, I would appreciate any dancing you could do on my behalf :).
