I can imagine that planning a wedding must be a little overwhelming to choose between so many vendors for such an important day! I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and personable vendors in the wedding industry, and I love to help my clients out whenever possible in creating a stellar vendor team. I frequently refer my clients to professionals I have worked with who I truly believe will do an amazing job for them by sharing my Favorite Vendors List. I also like to occasionally brag on each of them more in depth.
Today, meet Leah & Matt of Tremaine Ranch! Tremaine Ranch is a rental company with a beautiful and unique inventory, and Matt & Leah also offer custom creations. I love how cool and distinctive their pieces are!
Here is a little Q & A to help us get to know Leah & Matt a little better. Read their answers below each question:
1. How long have you been in business?
We started our business in April 2014 after our own wedding. We can't believe it will be 4 years soon!
2. What got you interested in starting your business?
Our own wedding actually inspired our entire company! We made, thrifted and sourced a ton for our own wedding. After we said our vows, we had all this stuff left over. So, we decided to start renting out some of the items for spare cash. It all started to snowball from there and we're so glad it did.
3. What do you feel sets you apart from other rental companies in the wedding industry?
One of things we have realized we are extremely passionate about is using pieces that are second-hand or thrifted. For the most part, our inventory is all vintage or handmade - we try our best ot not buy brand new. If we can help create a smaller carbon footprint on our planet, we would hope that our re-purposing of furniture and decor for weddings and events is a small start to bigger changes in the future.

4. What kinds of clients do you work with most often?
We typically work with people who want to get creative. Our clients usually know what they want and will follow through to make their vision a reality, rather than just settling on something. We believe that there is a little something for everyone in our inventory, and we hope that no matter how big or small your event is, we can do our part to make it so much more than just a celebration -- but a lifelong memory.
5. What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry?
The wedding industry, just like most others, is ever-changing. Living and working in Arizona gives us the flexibility to be a bit more creative with our clients, and also bring new ideas that other states and cities are doing. We have a huge advantage being in a destination state like Arizona, where people from around the planet travel for our desert landscape. It's exciting seeing the new concepts of decor and design, and seeing people pushing the limits, little by little.
6. When meeting with brides, what is the biggest tip you find yourself giving them?
Stay true to what you want and follow your original design. DON'T SETTLE!

7. What current trend in wedding decor do you personally like the most?
We love seeing all the beautiful florals that are out there, but I think that there are some unique designs popping up on the internet that would be super cool to see executed for real weddings in Arizona.
8. Any fun-facts that we should really know that would contribute even more to your coolness?
We realize that sometimes what you're looking for doesn't exist yet or may not be available in your area. Combining the client's ideas and our team, we are sure that we can work with anyone to bring their ideas to life. From custom furniture pieces, to ceremony arbors, we're always open to chatting about what we can possibly source or produce for any event; not just weddings!
I love the fact that you can create entire custom furniture pieces for a wedding! Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Leah & Matt!
