Online dating can be a little bit intimidating, but when it works just right, your online match could turn out to be your perfect real-life match.
That's what happened with Jon & Laura.
They met via an online dating site, and from their first date, they knew there was potential for something amazing. And soon, it was more than mere potential! By the end of their third date, Laura knew that Jon was the man she'd been looking for. It didn't take some grand, romantic gesture to win her over … just Jon's joyful, generous heart.
Jon & Laura spent that date playing mini-golf and arcade games. Laura beat Jon at mini-golf, and he didn't have an ounce of hurt pride. In fact, it's one of his favorite memories! Then they went inside to play video games and won piles of prize tickets. But iinstead of redeeming the tickets themselves, Jon insisted on giving them away to all of the little kids in the arcade. That kindness and caring, wrapped up in a handsome, hilarious man, were exactly what Laura had hoped to find.
And once she found it, she didn't let go!
Jon & Laura's wedding was gorgeous, and I'm especially moved by the personal touches they included. Jon himself designed the lovely invitations, and his mother Janine created the unique and beautiful quilt that topped the chuppah. I'm so grateful that I was there to capture this special day! Here are a few of my favorite images from Jon & Laura's incredible wedding:
