Falling in love isn’t rocket science … which is probably why it took Shane and Teri a little while to catch on that they were perfect for one another! Since they met at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (where Shane was working and Teri was interning), if it HAD been rocket science, they might have gotten engaged that first week -- haha! But even though Teri was drawn to Shane’s smile from the first moment she saw him, they stayed merely colleagues until after Teri’s internship had ended. She had left JPL and gone back to school when the two ran into each another at the gym. Working out led to a group lunch, which led to friendship and then dating.
The rest, as they say, is history!
I was lucky enough to travel to Malibu, California to photograph Shane & Teri’s engagement session. We ventured out to the beach at sunrise to capture these dreamy portraits, and it was worth every second of sleep that we missed out on! Shane & Teri are so loving and sweet together. I feel blessed to be allowed to capture their connection, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in January!
