At first, she only knew him as "Whammy" -- the new guitar instructor at summer camp. But then he broke the rules of camp (to be known exclusively by your nickname) and told Amanda his name was Fergus. In those first days, Amanda quickly came to appreciate Whammy's kindness and his generous streak of mischievous. A friendship became love which became a long distance, intercontinental relationship.
No big deal.
When they were apart, Amanda didn't even really miss him. Or so she thought.
But then one day, as she drove through LA to meet a friend, she found herself lost in thoughts of Fergus. And by the time her thoughts came back to the car, the road, and the present moment, Amanda realized she was miles past the exit she was supposed to take. And instead, her heart was driving her to camp -- the spot where she met Fergus.
It was a small moment, but that was all it took. Amanda knew there was only one person she wanted to spend her life with.
And on October 18th, that life officially began.
